Middletown Police are searching for a suspected bank robber who hit the TD bank at Woodbourne Road and Old Lincoln Highway near the Oxford Valey Mall just before 11am yesterday. The suspect is believed to be a thin white male about five feet eight inches tall, short brown hair and sideburns. The suspect was last seen wearing khakis, dark shoes, a white t-shirt and a hat, running towards the Oxford Valley Mall. Police say the suspect never showed a weapon and handed the teller a note saying “empty the top drawer into the bag.” It’s unclear how much money was taken during the heist and Middletown Police and the FBI continue to investigate the robbery.
