Montgomery Township has a new Deputy Police Chief.   The Board of Supervisors Monday night promoted Sergeant Scott Bendig.   He has been a member of the police department in Montgomeryville for more than 20 years and will most likely succeed long time Police Chief Richard Brady when he retires in October, 2012.   Bendig holds a master degree in Criminal Justice and coaches little league as well as youth football.
