Waitress Heads To Court On Insurance Fraud Charges
A Quakertown woman accused of filing a false injury claim that prevented her from working as a waitress is heading for trial in Bucks County Court.
43-year-old Christina Gamble (pictured here) has waived her right to a preliminary hearing, which clears the way for a trial. She faces felony theft and insurance fraud charges. At the time of her arrest Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett said she quit her job at the Red Robin Restaurant on Route 309 in Richland Township and went on workers’ compensation, claiming a back injury from slipping and falling on the job, but she was working as an exotic dancer at CR Fanny’s Gentlemen’s Club and Sports Bar near Easton. Court Documents say Highmark Casualty Insurance Company paid more than $22,000 in disability benefits and $4,000 for medical expenses.
