Towamencin Supervisors Won't Intervene in Chick-Fil-A Zoning Hearing

A Towamencin Zoning Board hearing involving the Chick-Fil-A under construction at Forty Foot and Welsh Roads will proceed in April without any input from the township supervisors.   They decided Wednesday night not to have their legal counsel in attendance when the fast food restaurant makes it case for larger outdoor signs than are allowed under the zoning ordinance.   Supervisor Chairman Dan Littley says he and the other four supervisors did not think it necessary to have their solicitor at the hearing and are relying instead on the members of the Zoning Hearing Board to uphold the ordinances of the township.
