The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency plans to dig up and replace 3,600 cubic yards of soil at an old Bucks County industrial site that has been contaminated for decades.

Temple Judea Moves To New Building

Temple Judea of Bucks County has moved from its old location on Swamp Road in Doylestown Borough to a new one on Rogers Road in Doylestown Township.

New Electric Supplier Contract Proposed in Lansdale

Lansdale officials at their business meeting on January 16th will consider a five year contract with a new power supplier.   The borough buys electricity in bulk for resale to its residents and the proposed agreement with a division of Florida Power & Light would stabilize rates over the long run.   It could also put some upward pressure on what consumers in Lansdale pay for electricity but that isn't certain at this point since the contract cost of power won't be nailed down until four hours before the start of the council meeting.
