A Bucks County assisted-living retirement community has broken ground for a new building that will house people with dementia and memory loss.

The building at Hidden Meadows on the Ridge, on Farmers Lane in West Rockhill Township, will have a full and part-time staff of about 40 people helping up to 48 residents.

It will have secure outdoor courtyards and arts activities based on each person’s interests.  It should be finished in the fall at a cost of about $4 million.
