The Bucks County Commissioners have agreed to fund the Synergy Project for Homeless Teenagers.

It’s based at the Valley Youth House in Warminster, which lost a grant from the federal government.

The county is using $60,000 from the Behavioral Health Department, which it distributes from various federal and state sources.  In the last year Synergy served 176 young people living on the streets or in cars or getting temporary shelter at the homes of friends.
