Salford Station Road Bridge Opens

End_Road_WorkThe Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has opened the new Salford Station Road Bridge over the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek in Lower Salford Township.

It replaces a structurally-deficient bridge that was built in 1931 and closed in April of this year.

The cost of more than $2,666,000 was financed entirely with state funds.
