Salford Station Road Bridge Opens
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has opened the new Salford Station Road Bridge over the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek in Lower Salford Township.
It replaces a structurally-deficient bridge that was built in 1931 and closed in April of this year.
The cost of more than $2,666,000 was financed entirely with state funds.
