311 West Main Task Force Gets Recommendation in Lansdale

A draft recommendation has been made concerning the future of the old Performing Arts Center in Lansdale.   A-M-S Planning and Research, the consultant hired by borough council to find the way forward for the century old building, has proposed it be used as a Community Arts Center.   That's an expansion of the vision for the old Performing Arts Center and would include art classes, visual art exhibitions and film production.   A-M-S made its presentation Thursday night at a meeting of the borough 311 West Main Street Task Force.   That eleven member advisory group must now form a consensus about the feasibility of the consultant's proposal and pass it along to borough council which will make the final decision about the future of the building.
