Exelon Nuclear's Limerick Generating Station shutdown its Unit 2 reactor at about twelve noon Friday so workers could replace a valve on the steam piping system.   The repairs can only be done when the unit is offline.   The unit will be tested before it returns to service.   The company says Unit 1 is running at fiull power.
