NWWA Gets Grant

The North Wales Water Authority is getting a $500,000 state grant to pay for de-commissioning and demolishing its old wastewater treatment plant, which will not be needed after it finishes a merger with the Upper Gwynedd plant. The grant will also pay for cleaning up and restoring the site and removing and recycling materials.  Demolition should start in about two years, after the borough’s connection to the township’s plant is completed.
