Diamond Street in Sellersville will remain closed during the daytime between Ridge Avenue and Route 113 from May 31 through June 10 while the North Penn Water Authority installs water mains. It is closed from 7:00am until 5:00pm weekdays.  It’s part of more than $3 million worth of improvements the water authority plans to make on the water system it bought recently from Sellersville.  The Diamond Street closure also includes re-paving.  The Sellersville system is currently being hooked up to North Penn Water.  The rates will go up initially, but after that they will stay the same for ten years.
