The Towamencin Supervisors Wednesday night heard a request to rezone almost nine-and-a-half acres near Wambold and Fretz Roads.   The property is currently designated residential and an auto restoration service has operated there under a temporary variance for more than 30-years.   The property owner has an interest in the business and would like to sell his land to his partner at some point but that transaction would void the temporary variance forcing the car service to move.   It could stay if the land is rezoned limited industrial.   The attorney that represents the property owner says industrial development along the Wambold Road corridor has made it unsuitable for residential use.   The township supervisors say they will consider the request and schedule a public hearing if appropriate.
