Conshohocken Road Reopens

road_constructionConshohocken Road in Plymouth Township reopened Friday afternoon, two years after being closed for the replacement of two bridges over freight railroad tracks. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation closed it to through traffic between Ridge Pike just outside of Norristown and Fayette Street in Conshohocken, where its name changes to Elm Street.  State funds paid for the entire cost of the $10.4 million project.
