SEPTA Budget: No Fare Hikes
SEPTA’S budget for the fiscal year starting July 1 calls for more than $1.2 billion in spending.
That’s up by nearly four percent from the current fiscal year, but the transit agency says it will not hike fares or cut service. Public hearings on the budget will be held next month, starting on April 18 at the Montgomery County Human Services Center in Norristown. Another hearing is set for April 21 at the Bucks County Free Library in Doylestown.
