Many projects went on Monday to observe the Martin Luther King Day of Service. In Norristown hundreds of student volunteers from grade school to college got together and helped the Police Athletic League clean and paint its building and sort donated books and sports equipment.  Volunteers of all ages were at Valley Forge National Historical Park sprucing it up, and Gwynedd-Mercy College has activities all week honoring Doctor King’s memory.
