Boy, Dispatcher, Get Life Saver Certificates

medical-symbolA young boy and a Montgomery County emergency dispatcher have received Emergency Medical Service Life Saver Certificates. EMS Deputy Chief Don Lynch presented them to seven-year-old Evan Leberknight and dispatcher Kim Swoyer at Monday night’s Franconia Township Supervisors meeting.  Leberknight, of Harleysville, was visiting his grandmother, Andrea Leberknight, at her Franconia home the morning of October 6 when she became unresponsive because of a medical problem.  Evan called 911 and Swoyer kept him calm and got information about his grandmother’s condition until police and an ambulance arrived five minutes later.
