The Montgomery Township Supervisors have approved plans for a new McDonald’s restaurant and drive-through in the Montgomery Commons Shopping Center on Route 63 near North Wales Road. It will go on a pad site a bank had originally planned to develop.  Construction should start in the fall and be finished around the end of the year.  It will replace the McDonald’s that closed recently on East Main Street in Lansdale.
