Documentary Looks to Restore Joe Paterno’s Name

According to a documentary, Joe Paterno was railroaded in the Jerry Sandusky scandal at Penn State. Bucks County native, John Zeigler, who now works out of Los Angeles, says there are many untold facts about the case that would have benefited Paterno.

“I have probably talked to more people close to the story than anybody in the world, certainly more than Louis Freeh did and certainly more than the NCAA did. They did have a clue about what the facts of this case were when they handed down the sanctions, not a clue.”

Zeigler has produced the documentary “Framing Paterno” which will be screened Saturday night in the Lehigh Valley. Zeigler conducted three hours of interviews with Sandusky in his prison cell and is convinced Paterno knew nothing about his relationships with children.
