The borough manager of Lansdale is interim no more.
Timi Kirchner Wednesday night was hired to be the chief administrator of the borough on a permanent basis. She was selected in January to run things temporarily after Lansdale officials fired long time Borough Manager Lee Mangan. Council President Matt West says Kirchner was the best of the 14 candidates for the job and her $135,000 a year employment agreement includes provisions that will save borough taxpayers money. Kirchner will move into Lansdale and leave behind the home she currently has in Lancaster County.
