North Wales Area Library Board of Directors President Kirk Field has asked the Upper Gwynedd Township Commissioners to double their donation to the library next year.

They approved a $15,000 gift earlier this year.

He has also asked them to designate it as the library serving township residents and plan for how much they will contribute over the next five years.  He said 38 percent of the library’s patrons live in Upper Gwynedd, and North Wales comes in second with a slightly smaller percentage followed by Montgomery Township.
