Upper Salford officials are looking at their trail system and where it might go in the future. The township currently has trails in Upper Salford Park, the Shelly Square Shopping Center and a small development in Woxall, and Montgomery County’s Perkiomen Trail runs through the township.

Future trails could run along Sumneytown Pike and parts of Skippack and Shelley Roads.  Planning consultant Matthew Schelly, who works for the county planning commission, says a recent study showed that recreational trails increase the value of nearby residential properties.
