Valley Forge Casino officials offered a progress report Monday on Montgomery County’s first casino, at the Valley Forge Convention Center in King of Prussia. It has a resort license, which allows 600 slot machines and 50 gaming tables, considerably less than the Parx Casino in Bucks County.  They said it’s a resort first with a hotel, pool, restaurants, meeting rooms and convention space, and the gaming should start next spring as an added amenity for conventioneers, hotel guests and other patrons.
