The Upper Providence Township Supervisors have approved a liquor license transfer to a combination restaurant and movie theater. The license will be transferred from a Norristown restaurant that is now closed.  The Movie Tavern, with eight screens, should open in the summer in the Providence Town Center, Near Routes 422 and 29.  Servers would take food and drinks to customers at their theater seats during the movie, or they could sit in the lounge or restaurant.
