DUI Crash Simulation At NPHS
North Penn High School held its annual DUI Crash Simulation Thursday. The main speaker was Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney Bradford Richman, who said he has spoken with too many parents who lost a teenage son or daughter to a drunken driver, and it destroys their lives.
Their lives just never go back because of something that’s 100 percent preventable.”
He said he hopes the students remember one thing.
“It’s simply a matter of luck, once they start making bad choices, whether they get home safely or not.”
North Penn High School Assistant Principal Neil Broxterman said, unfortunately, it’s not unusual for teens to make poor choices.
“I think students make poor decisions all the time, and hopefully as we keep making efforts with programs like this and working in the classroom we can minimize the number of students that make those decisions.”
Fortunately, Broxterman said, he believes the vast majority of North Penn Students Make Good Decisions.
