Lower Salford and Police Agree On New Four Year Contract
Lower Salford Police Officers have a new four year contract that starts in 2014 through 2017. The current contract is due to expire at the end of the year. The new accord calls for a raise of 2.75 percent in the first year and a three percent increase for 2015,16 and 17. First year officers earn a salary of 52,554 dollars. The insurance portion of the contract provides an H-M-O. Officers can opt for the
P-P-O, but that plan comes at a higher cost.
