Jackass Star Drunk At Time Of Fatal Crash
Police say the star of the Jackass TV show and movies was legally drunk when he died early Monday in a Chester County car crash. 34-year-old Ryan Dunn’s blood alcohol level was .196, or about 2 1/2 times the legal limit for driving, when he ran his Porsche off the Route 322 Bypass near the Route 100 interchange in West Goshen at a speed in excess of 130 miles per hour. His 30-year-old friend Zachary Hartwell was also killed. The two were seen drinking at Barnaby’s of America in West Chester less than an hour before the crash. Both men were West Chester area residents.
