Performing Arts Center In First Full Season

The Lansdale Center for the Performing Arts, in the old Masonic Hall on West Main Street, has kicked off its first full season with classical, jazz and comedy performances, among other things. Executive Director Marja Kaisla says veteran pop-rock singer-songwriter and North Penn High School graduate John Oates is coming on Saturday, October 24.

“He and Darryl Hall are going to be doing a show the night before at the Spectrum, but then John Oates will come to do a solo show on the 24th, and during the day of his performance he has agreed to do a songwriting workshop for area kids, which is really wonderful.”

She says all of their performers are doing workshops for area students, and season ticket packages are available.

“You can choose any 8 tickets, not only one series like 8 classical concerts or 8 theater tickets, but you can choose any 8 performances and you get 10 percent off the total ticket price.”

Kaisla says the Lansdale Center for the Performing Arts also has rentals for musical groups, conferences and business presentations.  For more information, go to lansdalecpa.org on the internet.
