The mother of a murdered Wissahickon High School
freshman is back in Montgomery County Prison, less than a month after she was
released on parole.
36-year-old Danielle Cattie, of the West Ambler
Section of Whitpain Township, is accused of violating conditions of her parole
by drinking alcohol at a local American Legion post. She was imprisoned earlier this year after
she pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child and possessing drug
paraphernalia. Authorities say she and
her boyfriend, 49-year-old Mark O’Donnell, smoked crack cocaine for several
hours before O’Donnell killed 14-year-old Ebony Dorsey by wrapping her pajamas
around her neck and choking her until she stopped breathing. He was convicted of first degree murder, and
he is serving life in state prison without parole.
