Towamencin and Montgomery Townships held reorganization meetings Monday night to chose leaders for the current year.   In Montgomeryville, Supervisor Mike Fox was chosen Chairman while Supervisor Robert Birch was reelected Vice-Chairman.   In Towamencin, Supervisor Dan Littley was chosen Chairman and Supervisor Tom Hollenbeck was retained in the number two spot.   Two seats on the Board of Supervisors in each township are up for grabs in the election this year.   In Towamencin, both Dan Littley and Supervisor Jim Sinz are in the last year of their current terms.   Littley says they could run for reelection as a team.   The seats on the line in Montgomery Township currently belong to Supervisors Steve Prousi and Bill Sarosky.   Prousi is undecided about running for reelection while Sarosky says he does not want another term.

Three firefighters and a technician from a heating oil company were injured during a house fire in New Britain Township on Friday.   It happened on Evergreen Drive shortly before noon.   Investigators say the technician apparently sparked the fire.   Emergency responders arriving on the scene found him outside the house gasping for air and suffering from burns on his face and hands.   The three injured firefighters received an electric shock and along with the heater technician are expected to recover completely.   Fighting the fire was complicated by a heating oil spill that fed the flames.   The cause of the one-alarm blaze remains under investigation.
